We're the peoplebehind Dazy Dog.
Dazy Dog started in Sydney in 2019 with one orthopaedic bed. Today it's one of the biggest dog bed brands in the country, with a retail store in Cronulla. Bolta is the same team, turning from what dogs sleep on to what they eat.

What actually is a collagen chew?
The collagen-rich layer of the hide, slow dried until it's firm. It isn't rawhide, which is chemically treated and swells in the stomach. Ours is human-grade and 96% protein, and it softens as your dog works at it rather than snapping into shards.
Is it safe for a heavy chewer?
Yes, and the size matters more than the flavour. Go Large for anything over 25 kg. Supervise the session and take it away once it's small enough to swallow whole.
How is a functional treat different to a supplement?
Same actives, no argument about it. A functional treat is a soft bite your dog takes willingly, so the dose actually lands instead of being spat out behind the couch.
Can I give more than one functional treat?
Stick to the daily amount on the pack for each one. They are fine to combine across different jobs, so Move and Calm together is no problem.
Who makes them?
A small maker on the NSW south coast makes the collagen chews by hand, in small batches. They have been making this chew longer than anyone else in the country.
Are they suitable for puppies?
Once the adult teeth are through, usually around six months. Start with a Medium and keep the sessions short.
